Twenty-eight years ago I made public vows to love, honor and obey you, in sickness and in health, for richer, for poorer, till death parted us. Today, I publicly thank you for all the wonderful years of marriage.
I'm so grateful to the Lord for His grace and mercy, leadership and provision to us during those years.
You have been so faithful to stand by me through the thin times, and through all those nightmarish months of illness. What a shining example to a watching world of Christlike love and compassion. Thank you, dear. Here's to at least 28 more!
