Another drawing

Here is another one of Caleb's excellent drawings.

He borrowed a book about welding from one of his cousins. On the back of the book, there was the picture Caleb used to draw this picture:




The way he did the sparks, the vivid colors, it's just all very real. The light colors stand out because of the black background. He did a fantastic job!

Tickets on Sale Now!

The Ticket Bomb for the Rally for the Republic will begin and tickets will go on sale starting this morning.

Will you purchase a ticket and join us in Minneapolis on September 2?

Tickets will cost a very patriotic $17.76, so we hope you will bring the whole family. Can you image the reaction from the political establishment and media if we are able to sell out the Target Center?

Already the media is calling our office interested in the potential of our event. Over 1,500 news stories were written about Ron Paul alone when we announced our rally in Minneapolis two days ago.

Let's send a loud and clear message to the media again this Friday @ 10AM CST when tickets go on sale!

Tell them that we will not go unnoticed. Liberty will prevail, and our republic will be restored.

Please make every effort you can to be in Minneapolis. This will be the greatest event Dr. Paul has ever attempted.

We are in negotiations with a handful of headlining musical acts and additional speakers that we will announce to you in the coming weeks.

We appreciate all your suggestions, but rest assured, the Rally for the Republic will be nothing less than our moment in history.

2 Visits

Over the last month and a half, we have received two visits from both sets of Grandparents!
Poppy & Grams (Mom's parents) were in the area (they live 2 1/2 hours away) and they stopped by for a couple of hours back around the first of July. We had a wonderful visit with them.

Grandpa & Grandma (Dad's parents) live closer (in Dallas) and have come up twice so far. Grandma is a teacher and so she is taking advantage of having the summer off to visit family & friends. We are so glad that they've been able to come up and see us twice!



We love you Poppy & Grams! We love you Grandpa & Grandma!

Our VERY FIRST tomato!!!

Today we picked our very first tomato!!! Can anyone guess how big it was? (Don't get your hopes up!) Each of had a small (hint) piece of it, and it was delicious! No...it wasn't like those artificial, pesticide-infected, store-bought kind, it was homegrown! Not to brag or anything (!), but I have to say it was one of the best tomatoes I've ever tasted (I wonder why?!)! We have some more tomatoes (green) on our plants...but, can anyone guess how many we have? Oh...also...would anyone happen to know many plants we have? ;)

Operation Ivy <^>

We live in a 40 year-old home with mature trees growing all around, therefore we have been blessed with lots of shade. Two of them are huge Ash trees with English ivy growing on them. Located in the front yard, they bring a stateliness to our home, I think. We have been noticing, over the past several months that our trees aren't doing too well. They seem to been dying, maybe they are, I mean they are at least 40 years old, and this is Texas (i.e. hot, dry, drought, ice-storms, heavy rains, etc.).

Tuesday morning, Caleb & I were mowing, and edging the yard, and we got this bright idea that we should trim back the English Ivy that was growing up the W. tree. Out comes the ladder, loppers, and here came the leaves... of ivy.

After working for awhile on the one tree, we decided (and after consulting with Daddy) to pull down the ivy off of both trees. We left about 1'' of ivy at the base of the trees and all of it in the tree-boxes. Now, needless to say, our our trees look "naked" without all of their foilege

The job all in all, was very simple, very itchy (not like poison ivy), and very hot. But, we accomplished the task in about 1 hour. Thanks goes to Caleb and Phoebe who were my faithful co-laborers. : )
We still had piles of tree limbs (we also trimmed up the trees), ivy and other organic material awaiting disposal on the front lawn. Later that day, we cleaned it up. Now, it's being made into compost.

P.S. Don't ever grow Ivy (of any kind) on your trees. It may look nice (if you keep it trimmed, it's a bit unruly) but it will kill your tree.

Operation St. Paul, MN

Think about this:

This September in Minneapolis, MN, John McCain will accept the nomination of the Republican party. Across the river, Ron Paul's Campaign for Liberty will be hosting its own convention. One, that will have significantly more impact than what the RNC decides.

So, to get a "head start" The American Liberty Coalition PAC is sponsoring a billboard campaign in the Twin Cities. Go check out a sampling of what it will be like if you're walking the streets of Minneapolis or St. Paul. It is completely what we need, a welcomed "wake up call" for all of those who need the TRUTH!

Consider what you can do to make this happen all over the Twin cities.

One Blood

Johanna is a thinker. This evening at church, during the song service, she was thinking and writing and this is the fruit of her labor. Congratulations Jo! I am so pleased with the finished product! ~Abby

One Blood

My siblings are related to me by blood. But, if you think about it, we Christians are also related by blood - Christ Jesus' blood for our sins. And, all are related to each other, black, white, yellow, red, brown, through Adam.
But, all are "one blood" (Acts 17:26) through Adam. We are all ONE RACE! The human race. Black, yellow, red, brown and many other "colors" are one hundred percent HUMAN! And, so are unborn babies in Mother's wombs.
Unborn babies are ONE HUNDRED percent human! Not, part fish, monkey, or any other animal! Abortion and racism are evolutionary, and it goes against God's infallible word. We are all created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26-27). God's word says babies are knit together in their mother's wombs (Psalms 139:13-16).
"And God said, "let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Happy 16th Birthday Caleb!



Today is a special day at the Kautt Haus, Caleb (the 3rd child) turns 16! Wow! The time has flown by since the time he licked his forefinger and said to Mom, "want some wa wa (water)?" He has matured allot and grown in the Lord. He is a young man, no longer a child.





May God our Creator bless you richly Caleb now & always as you strive to follow His leading in your life!
