It's fun that you have dance practices, just like we do here! :) They are always so enjoyable. Ours haven't started up yet this year, but the first will be this Friday, and we are excited. It's a good way to spend time with old and new friends alike!
I liked the pictures- especially the circle ones.

Blessings! -Marjolaine B.

Hello Marjo,

The practices we go to are all year round and are on the first Friday of every month. :) It is a good way to be with friends and make new ones. That's one of the reasons why I like doing it.-- My Mom sometimes calls me "Miss Social". I think I got it from her, though. ;)

Well, 'miss social', I agree with you that it is delightful to see people! :) I wish our dance practices lasted year round. Ours are in spring to June, and then start up again in September to December. This year there is a theme, so the dances are all going to be Scottish and English. THe theme is based on our big homeschool convention/conference in June. The theme for THAT this year is covenanters of Scotland, and how that influenced America, so we try to bring that theme even into the yearly balls and dance practices! :)

Enjoy your Friday nights! Our dance practices are on Friday nights as well, but they are not every week. I think there are 2 a month. The first is on the 10th.

Well...to tell you a little bit of what is going on, Saturday our family and another family set up our homeschool group's annual Art festival (contest). And today the judges came. Tomorrow night, all the ''people'' (people who entered and their friends) come, and we enjoy looking at the artwork, talking, and eating together.

Hope you are having a delightful February! Blessings!

The dance practices you go to are with CHEF of Missouri, right? That's neat that you have different themes each year. :) I wish we had our practices more that ponce a month, but anyway. I still enjoy it!

What are some of your favorite dances? Some of mine are "Irish Washerwoman", "duke of Kent's Waltz", "Hole in the Wall" and "Virginia Reel". :) I don't really remember the names of any other dances, except "Levi Jackson" (I don't know how to dance that one). One of the dances I like is kind of a waltz tempo and you have to poussette your partner. :) Do you prefer being the #1 couple or the #2 couple? I have danced a few dances where you have more that 2 couples dancing together. Those are usually more confusing!

I have seen photos from your past Art festivals, and it looks like a lot of fun. :) Plus, I love to draw and take photos, that would be double fun!

I have had a delightful February so far. :) thanks! hope you have a wonderful one too!

In Christ,
Johanna

P.S. Sorry for such a long comment.---That's Miss Social for you! ;)
