Spring is Coming!

The Spring-time itch has come to these gardening-lovers.  Seeds are starting indoors, the onions are in the ground, and there’s much more work to be done!  The past couple of days the weather has been gorgeous, in the 70′s, and the sun is shining beautifully.  We have even had our windows open, and were able to hang clothing out on the line to dry naturally.

Spring-time is coming, and we’re getting ready!  Stay tuned to our gardening blog as we update you as to our success of growing our own food… in the city.

Hello!
Thanks for the comments on my blog, which I really enjoyed!
Johanna-I'm glad you too are interested in European countries! I also love the 4 countries you mentioned, although I haven't studied Norway in depth yet!
I enjoyed looking around your blog-God bless you, Kautt family!

Hello Mazzou,

Thank YOU for commenting on our blog! :)

Norway is such an interesting country. You really should study it. :) One fun fact about Norway is: Norway gets so much rain that they can it and sell it to tourists.

Blessings

I was having thoughts and feelings like that, too. Those warm days were so pleasant! But now (February 3) I find myself shivering in front of the computer with cold fingers and numb toes. That groundhog must have made a mistake, because here we are, experiencing the coldest winter storm ever. In my memory, at least.
Are you guys snowed in, too? Or, should I say, iced in?

Ha, ha! It's funny that I posted that post just three days before we got ice and snow! I'm not quite feeling like it's spring at this moment! ;)

Yes, I'd say this is the coldest, iciest winter we've had in a long time, if ever. We've gotten about 5-6 inches of snow so far, on top of the 1-2 inches of frozen rain/ice. And, it's around 25 degrees, with the windchill around 5.
