Another drawing

Here is another one of Caleb's excellent drawings.

He borrowed a book about welding from one of his cousins. On the back of the book, there was the picture Caleb used to draw this picture:

The way he did the sparks, the vivid colors, it's just all very real. The light colors stand out because of the black background. He did a fantastic job!

Great job Caleb!

Tickets on Sale Now!

The Ticket Bomb for the Rally for the Republic will begin and tickets will go on sale starting this morning.

Will you purchase a ticket and join us in Minneapolis on September 2?

Tickets will cost a very patriotic $17.76, so we hope you will bring the whole family. Can you image the reaction from the political establishment and media if we are able to sell out the Target Center?

Already the media is calling our office interested in the potential of our event. Over 1,500 news stories were written about Ron Paul alone when we announced our rally in Minneapolis two days ago.

Let's send a loud and clear message to the media again this Friday @ 10AM CST when tickets go on sale!

Tell them that we will not go unnoticed. Liberty will prevail, and our republic will be restored.

Please make every effort you can to be in Minneapolis. This will be the greatest event Dr. Paul has ever attempted.

We are in negotiations with a handful of headlining musical acts and additional speakers that we will announce to you in the coming weeks.

We appreciate all your suggestions, but rest assured, the Rally for the Republic will be nothing less than our moment in history.

In addition to the Rally for the Republic, the Campaign for Liberty has planned three full days of events.

Please go to the scheduling page on our website to read about all the activities from Sunday, August 31 - Tuesday, September 2.

Don't forget! Tickets go on sale tomorrow morning @ 10AM CST at the Rally for the Republic website.

Be sure you are first in line to grab your seats. In liberty,The Campaign for Liberty TeamP.S. - The Rally for the Republic will be the kickoff event for the Campaign for Liberty.

We are developing a new nationwide grassroots organization to keep the message of liberty alive.

Please encourage your friends, family, and co-workers to join the Campaign for Liberty by going to our website and signing up. Thanks!

2 Visits

Over the last month and a half, we have received two visits from both sets of Grandparents!
Poppy & Grams (Mom's parents) were in the area (they live 2 1/2 hours away) and they stopped by for a couple of hours back around the first of July. We had a wonderful visit with them.

Grandpa & Grandma (Dad's parents) live closer (in Dallas) and have come up twice so far. Grandma is a teacher and so she is taking advantage of having the summer off to visit family & friends. We are so glad that they've been able to come up and see us twice!

We love you Poppy & Grams! We love you Grandpa & Grandma!

Happy 22nd Birthday Joel!!!

Reading to Jo & Ja

I know, this is a day late (and a dollar short), but "some is better than none," right?

Joel is now an "old man" as he describes himself. :) Hmm... I hardly think so brother of mine. ;)

Please join me in wishing him a fantastic belated 22nd birthday! Leave your birthday wishes by commenting here on the site.

Happy Birthday Joel! We love you!

You are such an inspiration to all of us, and such a godly motivator. We pray that you will continue to "grow in the grace and the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." And that you will continue to have "a defense ready for those who ask you the reason of the hope that is within you, with meekness and fear." You are such a blessing and we love you very much!!

Love from,

Dad, Mom, Abby, Caleb, Phoebe, Johanna & Jaden

Our VERY FIRST tomato!!!

This picture was not taken by us, but can be found on the web here.

Today we picked our very first tomato!!! Can anyone guess how big it was? (Don't get your hopes up!) Each of had a small (hint) piece of it, and it was delicious! No...it wasn't like those artificial, pesticide-infected, store-bought kind, it was homegrown! Not to brag or anything (!), but I have to say it was one of the best tomatoes I've ever tasted (I wonder why?!)! We have some more tomatoes (green) on our plants...but, can anyone guess how many we have? Oh...also...would anyone happen to know many plants we have? ;)

Enjoy!

~Phoebe :)
