Courageous!

If you haven't heard already, Sherwood Pictures is working on their 4th movie! I have greatly enjoyed and been inspired by their first three movies, Flywheel, Facing the Giants and Fireproof. The all around quality of their movies improves greatly with each film. I'm sure Courageous is going to be fantastic, even better than their other three (although I don't see how any could beat Fireproof!), and used powerfully by our Lord!

The filming of their new movie, Courageous, is approximately half way through. You can keep up with the progress by watching their videos on their YouTube channel, or by reading by way of their blog. I'm sure you will be blessed by watching/reading, as I have, and especially be blessed by the end product!

The Widow's Might

John Moore's fantastic movie, The Widow's Might began showing in theaters across this country. Unfortunately, it is not showing here in the DFW area. But, if you want to take a little road trip to a beautiful part of our state, then you might consider going to watch it at the Carmike theater in Tyler about 2.5 hours away. You can find locations and show times here.

I would strongly urge you to go support this film, you will be blessed and inspired by its powerful, family friendly and God honoring message!!!

Come What May

So, last night we watched Come What May, the amazing movie about Caleb and Rachel and their struggle to make a reasonable case infront of their moot court about overturning Roe v. Wade.

I thought that the music, filming and location were all very excellent, the acting and the transitions between each scene, were a little rough. Over all though, I was really touched by the messages sent in this first feature film for Advent Film Group.
