The wedding day has arrived! :-)
Steven Robert Loomis and Rebecca Louise Serven were united in covenant marriage for life, today! Hooray! Rebecca was a pen pal of mine for about a year and a half, and I'm so grateful to God for her. She has been a great encouragement to me, while Mom has been ill. My Mom, sisters Abby and Phoebe and I were very privileged to watch the live stream of Steven and Rebecca's wedding. It was so glorious!

Yes, watching this wedding was a privilege and joy. I must agree with you too regarding marriage being a picture of Christ and the Church. Makes me think of the hymn "The Church's one Foundation".
No, I have never met Rebecca in person :(, but she and her family did invite us to her wedding. Unfortunately, we weren't able to attend for various reasons.
