Dr. Paul shared his thoughts on his newest masterpiece in this short YouTube video.
Let's keep this book at #1 as l-o-n-g as possible for the Ron Paul rEVOLution and for FREEDOM, LIBERTY & PEACE!

Today was a good day...
Joel was off work, Dad was home until 4:30, Mom had a g-r-e-a-t day, and the sun was shining! Of course, these were all wonderful blessings from the hand of our Heavenly Father and I am grateful for them. Thus far, our week has been really relaxed and wonderful. :]
Last week was super hectic: We all had more than allot on our schedules. Joel had the unique experience of representing our Dad's brother Jim and wife Naomi who are missionaries in Tuebingen, Germany. He attended a "missions fair" at one of their main support churches here in the DFW area. Sunday morning he attended services with Grandpa & Grandma at their church, and then spent the rest of the afternoon and early evening visiting with them and also with our Uncle Dennis, Aunt Becky & children in Denton.
When he returned home from his excursions, Phoebe & I (who were home with Mom) chatted about many things. It was refreshing to begin a 3-day "relaxation" period. We also enjoyed fellowship with each other at the meal table on Sunday night.
Last week consisted of mowing lotsa lawns for our customers, cleaning our church building, housework, juggling all of Mom's needs, laundry, and all things many tasks that fill each day in a larger family.
I was totally excited to learn last Tuesday that my Amaryllis had bloomed!!! I have waited "patiently" since 2006 for it to bloom again. Back when I first got it (2006) I was rewarded with 3 lovely deep red blooms. Then last spring my anticipation mounted as March drew near.... Only, nothing happened. No blooms. Well, I learned that you have to trim back the leaves and foliage each year for it to bloom. Anyway, we have been enjoying the beauty of God's creative work in the beauty of a flower.
God has been really working on my life and helping me to understand what is really important. At this "time" in my life, where I am the in charge of running this household (besides Dad & Joel), planning meals, making sure the cleaning, laundry and other chores are attended to. As I have been reading through the book of Philippians this month, I realize that "for to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain". That has been such a challenge for me to live in such a manner.
Mom has been able to get back on her exercise plan. PTL!!! After her major setback in late March, this is a major step forward. She has even been able to begin walking outside. Please continue to pray for her returning strength, and that she would be encouraged in the Lord, to not become down-trodden or depressed. She has some "projects" that help her pass the time, and she has been enjoying this beautiful Texas weather, sitting outside for hours on end.
Just this evening, she sat out with 4 of her children gathered around her feet as she read to us. It was a sweet time of to-getherness. :]
That's a tad of what has been "going on" around here. I hope that I can keep you all updated a little more frequently...
Have a great rest of the week...

2 years ago on April 26, 2006 our dear friend and "adopted" Uncle Mallory S. Boyes passed away.
We still miss him... his laughter, his loving care not only for his family but for people in general. We miss him at church (he came almost every Lord's day), and then after services he would usually come and spend the afternoon here in our home, eating, laughing, enjoying serious discussions with his long time friend (from H.S. days) David. We miss him at all of the Kautt-Kautt-Knowles family events, he came to almost all of them.
We are very thankful for all of the wonderful memories we still cherish of him. He has gone on to his reward, and those who knew him and are left behind are left with a large hole in their hearts... one with his name on it.
His biological family ran a tribute in the Dallas Morning News either Saturday or Sunday (yesterday). Hopefully we can get a copy from Grandpa, and then scan it and post it.
The tribute below was written by Mom (a.k.a. Julia) for Grandpa & Grandma's 50th wedding Anniversary album. Mal was like their 3 son.
Like a son, a brother – my friend,
You were to our family.
You departed this darksome world,
Some say, prematurely.
Our Sovereign Lord,
Knowing beginning from end,
Called you to your reward.
Now you receive His measure,
According to His Word.
We remember the hours
We spent with you:
Meals shared, one-liners,
Ballgames watched and played;
Bouncing little ones on your legs,
Kautt clan milestones –
You were there with a placid face.
Music, laughter, old t.v. shows,
Theological talks, concern for friends.
We are so sad, for now all those
Good times have come to an end.
We miss you, Mal.
The void you left cannot be filled.

Now, that may not sound like anything, but it is a HUGE accomplishment for someone who has been called the "dark horse" of the GOP race.
I congratulate him and the tireless efforts of all those in Pennsylvania who went out and spent hours volunteering for the Ron Paul rEVOLution. You all did a wonderful job and I thank you for the work you put into Pennsylvania to make this primary a success!

This afternoon while Jaden and I were going through his wardrobe, (seeing what needed to be put up because it was too small, getting out new clothing, etc.), he looked up at me while pulling on his socks and said, "boy these socks are sure holy. Not holy in the sense of like God, but holy in the sense of there are lots of holes in my socks." He was so serious, and inwardly I was laughing because of the funny expression on his face and his large Muskidine eyes!

The new hard hitting film / documentary Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed, starring actor / activist Ben Stein is set to be released nation-wide Friday April 18th.
We had the opportunity to watch the trailer and from what I could tell, it was very well done.
This film has received high praise from Answers In Genesis. They have a helpful review of Expelled up on the homepage.
Answers in Genesis' founder Ken Ham had the following to say regarding the film: “I urge everyone not to miss Expelled. I found it riveting, eye-opening, even astonishing. Ben Stein does a masterful job of exposing the ruthlessness of evolutionists who will go after anyone who challenges or merely questions Darwinian orthodoxy. I was on the edge of my seat—entertained yet instructed.” - Ken Ham
I would encourage you to go watch the trailer and I would also encourage you to go watch the film. You can find out if this film will be shown in your city by clicking on the Theater locator button on their homepage. Blogging: The good, the bad… the creative
Such sites as WordPress, Xanga and Google’s Blogger offer FREE blog hosting. Over the past 2-3 years the blog-o-sphere has literally exploded. A global phenomena it is. Connecting family and friends separated by thousands of miles. You no longer need to worry about long distance bills, letters the old-fashioned way, or even emails. Blogging is ‘the’ way to go now-a-days, when it comes to global communication.

Hope to see You there!
On Monday we got the great privilege to speak with Mr. A as we like to call him. :) BTW, it was wonderful to get the chance, we hope to do it again real soon! ;)
Joel has been working like crazy. Looking for a new job seems to be a full time chore! He would really like to get something other than landscape. He's also doing lots of his own work, plus all that he can muster around here. He stays busy, and tired. Keep him in your prayers.
The rest of us (with the exception of Mum) stay busy 100% of the time. I run from one job to the next, with breaks scattered throughout the day. :) Dad of course has lots to do besides chores around the house. Church engagements and visitation of parishioners keep his schedule more than full. We live a pretty exciting life. Sometimes I wish it would slow up just a bit... sometimes. :)
Mom is doing ok. She's had some disappointing set backs the last 1-2 months. First she got a really nasty cold, that went to her lungs (she's still coughing some). Then some heart related flare-ups. Right now she's hopefully still sleeping. All in all her morale is pretty good. She has her good days and her bad. Just pray that she'll get her strength back, and won't get depressed because of her continued weak condition at this time. Today, hopefully she'll be sitting outside (the first time since March 1st!) and getting some of this beautiful spring air.
As I was out reading my favorite blogs something I do on occasion ;) I noted a very exciting entry on Ken Ham's blog. Joel was enrolled in Answers in Genesis' on-line Apologetics program, graduating from that in May of 2007. He really enjoyed the interaction with other like-minded students, and instructors. Plus, all of the heaps of information he learned. AiG offers not only courses in Biblical Apologetics, but also: Biology, Geology, and Astronomy (there may be others, I'm not sure). This program is open to any one interested in learning how to defend the Faith. I hope to take these courses once everything has settled down around here.
The interesting thing about this program is that right now it’s booked! You won't be finding an opening for a while. That is what is so exciting. Dr. Georgia Purdom, says that she's seeing more and more people enrolling who are not familiar with what Answers in Genesis is all about. That is such an answer to prayer. This message is vitally important and needs to go out to the entire world.
If you or your family or friends are interested in finding out more about Answers Education Online please go check it out, pass along the info, and you might find yourself delving into the meaty material they have to offer. I don't think you'll be disappointed with what they have to offer.
